Freezer/ Fridge not cold at all. help!?

i have a HSS25GFPH hotpoint side by side it's about 6 years old, just recently the fridge is not cold at all, the freezer is losing its cool as well. there was a buildup of frost in the freezer yesterday so i pulled everything out for a little and let it defrost. then it stopped making ice and the freezer lost its cool, i blew out what i think are the condenser coils a thing that looks like a cylinder with a grill kind of hard to explain its at the bottom, and there is a little thing that looks like a mini bbq kind of as well next to it. Whats going on does anyone know or am i going to have to get a new fridge :
