Where to get upscale barista training?

It's not really something you need a cl for. When I made expresso drinks I was trained on the job. At every cafe where I worked I was re-trained because they want to make sure it's done exactly their way, although the differences are minor. It takes a bit of a knack to get that foam going and get the expresso grinds packed down nice and tight so you don't end up with crap, but once you get it down it's easy. If you apply to work at Starbucks they will give you training in different kinds of coffee beans and all their different beverages. If you go with a resume and tell the manager about your burning desire to learn everything about coffee, perhaps they will have an opening for you. I'm sure you will get some work if you ask at a few different cafes that interest you. These jobs aren't that hard to get.
