Would you marry a guy who hated your family?

My sister has been engaged to this guy for about four months now. The problem is, he hates our family. Ive never really gotten along with him because he is very judgemental and has made comments about my weight, appearence, and my boyfriend. My parents dislike him because he is very overbearing and controlling of my sister (she's not allowed to have any friends, or talk to her sisters unless at a family function, which she hardly ever attends because he refuses to spend time with our family). They've tried talking to my sister and to him about it... but nothing ever comes of it. She typically just leaves the room or the house. Last weekend, when her fiancee was at our house, my dad said something about him being controlling and he flipped out. He yelled at my dad and said he wasnt a "real man" etc. and then turned around and yelled at and insulted my mom. My sister witnessed the whole thing and she still wants to marry this man.
