Do you expect that too many people are like this in your area, depleting the quality of life for all?

People that don't know that they'll be happier if they weren't so materialistic? So they keep buying stuff they like to try to fill the void instead of appreciating more about what they already have and what they really need. Alas, if only they knew that their materialism attitude is the cause of the void they feel. I feel many people are like this especially around this time of year since X-M has very much become a time for people to focus on what they want and have to buy for them self or hoping someone will get it for them on X-M.
