Puss pockets on throat?

I went to the doctor Monday because I woke up with a Sore throat and ear ache Sunday. He gave me a shot and meds! My sore throat was gone Tuesday. But I had those white puss pockets on my throat. They were huge Monday & Tuesday. Yesterday my left side I had none. My right side I have a small tiny tiny one. You know the little eyes on the face beside the answer question on here. well it is the size of that. I have one more day to take my meds! I have had a sinus infection. My throat doesnt hurt at all. I just have a small tiny tiny white puss pocket. I am hoping that tomorrow it will be gone because i am still taking medicine. My ears do not hurt either. I have been chewing on ice and eating cold stuff hoping that would get rid of it the puss. I have also gargled mouth wash. about to try salt water now. I will say the salt water helped alot MOnday.. What are some other ways?
