Does anyon else consider the Grammy's/Oscar's a joke now?

its called celebrity culture and it is heavily backed by m media...athletes normally come into our attention every time there is a major event like the olympics but we're constantly exposed to them celebrities...so yea athletes dont really get the attention they deserve with the exception of Sidney Crosby the golden boy of Canada.
