Would like opinions. recently i ask about humane society killing a dog the same day it received it.?

the humane society killed the dog within 4 hrs of receiving it, they should have told me death was immediate and i wouldn't have left her and 6 of her puppies. they killed the 6 -2 month old pups too. said they were sick but they weren't. my friend decided to adopt the dog and went to humane society. they said she and 6 pups were dead. i gave one of her pups to a friend the same day i took the the dogs to the society. friends vet { that i gave pup to) said the one pup was very healthy. i took pictures of the 6 healthy pups. i thought they would at least be given a chance to be adopted. all the advertising seems to be phony. maybe donations should be given only to animal societies that have a no kill policy or at least for 30 days. there was no illness in the mother dog or pups. for "Missy's" sake i hope people change the way they donate their hard earned money. your opinion please. the friend went back the next day and adopted a pup. it had kennel cough and a cold.
