What costs can I expect when using A.I. on my mare this spring?

I am going to have my show Paint mare bred this spring. Due to the lack of good quality stallions in my area, I'm planning to breed her via artifical insemination. The breeder has quoted me $950, that will include the first shipment to my location. There is a good repro vet a few hours from me, I need to ask her costs at her end, but since this is a long New Year's weekend I don't want to bother her. I'd like input from anyone who's used A.I. in the past to tell me - what costs would I get from the repro vet? I know there would be ultrasounding, and exams, and such, also I would bear the costs of driving to the airport to pick up the semen, and of course duty and taxes. Anything else? If you can think of any good questions for me to ask both the breeder and vet, I would appreciate it before I'm 100% commited. Thanks.
